In my picture, Ganesha is holding a bowl, full to overflowing, of sweets. Ganesha has a sweet tooth, like most children, and there are plenty of sweet, good things in our world.
Another hand holds a battleaxe. This shows that he is ready to take strong measures to fight his way through difficulties straight to the right and the good - like an elephant crashing through the jungle, knocking all obstacles out of his way.
