My favourite Ganesha picture is this one, in which he has a lotus flower in one hand.
The lotus flower is so beautiful. It comes from the depths on the mud as a tight bud and opens into a huge and beautify bloom high above the water. It reminds me that I can grow and bloom - even if I think things are not so good for me at the moment.
